One of the most rewarding experiences of my PhD journey was delivering a talk on Perovskite Optoelectronics to master's and PhD students at Reva University.
The session covered the fundamentals of perovskite materials, their rapidly growing role in next-generation photovoltaics, and the exciting possibilities they offer for optoelectronic applications. Beyond the science, we discussed the challenges that still limit commercialization, the importance of fundamental research, and how interdisciplinary efforts are shaping the future of this field.

What made this visit truly memorable was the interaction with the students. Their curiosity, thoughtful questions, and enthusiasm for research led to engaging discussions on device physics, material design, and emerging research directions. These conversations reminded me that scientific progress is driven not only by laboratory experiments but also by the sharing of ideas and the inspiration of the next generation of researchers.
As a PhD scholar, I find opportunities like these deeply fulfilling. They allow me to step beyond my own research, communicate complex concepts in an accessible way, and connect with aspiring scientists. I returned from Reva University with fresh perspectives, renewed motivation, and a greater appreciation for the impact of scientific outreach.
I look forward to many more such interactions, where research extends beyond publications and laboratories.
